This vocal camp allows students to focus on learning the basics of vocal music and singing techniques. In this two week session, we will explore the fundamentals of music and singing so students can find their range and learn how to perform their favorite songs!
Week 1: Technique
In order to develop proper technique, students will practice good breath support, learn the anatomy and health of singing, and develop their vocal sound.
Week 2: Song Selection & Rehearsal
During week 2, students will practice listening to and singing a variety of songs in order to find their range. They will then have the freedom to pick a song of their choice to sing solo or in a duet at the end of the Summer Session!
Recital
Once a song has been chosen, it’s time to rehearse for the recital! Students can use this week to practice their songs and familiarize themselves with performing for an audience.
