This is a discounted 10 hour package that allows students new to singing to focus on learning the basics. During this time we will explore the fundamentals of music and singing so students can find their range and learn how to perform their favorite songs!

First five hours of instruction: Technique

In order to develop proper technique, students will ​​practice good breath support, learn the anatomy and health of singing, and develop their vocal sound.

• Warm-ups
• Breathing
• Posture 

Second five hours of instruction: Song Selection & Rehearsal

In the second half of the package, students will practice listening to and singing a variety of songs in order to find their range. They will then have the freedom to pick a song of their choice to sing solo or in a duet. 

• Listen to and practice some of your favorite songs
• Pick a song - Duet or Solo
• Learn melody and harmony

Recital

Once a song has been chosen, I will encourage my students to perform in front of a live audience or do a recording for them to share with others. During this time students will practice their songs and familiarize themselves with performing for an audience. 

• Utilize warm up and breathing techniques
• Rehearse song of choice
• Gain confidence in performing
